Much depends on what you are trying to accomplish. If all that's needed
is gain, then the Airlink may be a decent and cost-effective solution.
But if part of your problem is interference, then an omni probably won't
help, because it tends to amplify interference along with the desired
signal. By comparison, a directional antenna will tend to reject
interference that's not in line with the desired signal. That's
probably why your biquad, a directional antenna, worked better for you
than the omni. If so, *any* omni would probably be the same.
