New Orange contract is this normal? Hi there, i bought a new orange contract and phone today from the orange
shop. I asked to have my old orange PAYG phone number transfered to the new
contract. I was told this would be done by sending a sim update to the new
phone within 24hrs. It would appear however that they have updated my old
PAYG sim to the new contract. As i now can't dial 450 or 453 to find out my
credit etc. When i dial 150 and ask about my minutes left it says that the
account is being updated - i can make calls with this old sim. The new sim
seems to have been deactivated as it is saying that there is no network for
it now.
Is this the way round it should of happenned? I was told the new sim would
be updated? And the old one deactivated. My only worry at the moment is that
i cannot connect to the WAP settings via the phone (a k800i)
Have orange done something worng or was the girl in the shop misinformed?
