First, just a point of fact Stephan, I was the OP of this thread and I made
no such comment.

Ivor and Davew contend that the no advertising rule has been contravened in
this thread.
In my opinion nobody has come even close to this.

True, the subject field I chose was in a form that a spammer *might* have
used, this was quite deliberate and I make no apology for it. (It certainly
didn't seem to prevent people reading and contributing to the thread)

The body of my OP made it clear that far from promoting a product or service
my purpose was to stimulate a discussion about a 'new' one that had come to
my attention. If that isn't an appropriate topic for this Newsgroup (sorry
Ivor, Forum), then I don't know what is.

Actually I don't think my contribution was specifically referred to by Ivor
or Davew, anyone who does object should take the foregoing as a pre-emptive
strike.

Welcome's post definitely was criticised, and all he did was quote from a
website!


Perhaps Cilla has her work cut out, its not often that I find myself
agreeing with you Stephan.
