Default Wireless Connection DISAPPERED from Network Connections

Hello,

I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop running Windows XP. It has been working great and I use a wireless connection to access the Internet both at my house and any of the campus buildings. It always connects right away and stays connected. However, on Friday I was sitting in class and all of the sudden lost the connection. Sometimes that happens in the building I was in so I wasn't that surprised. It usually just kicks back on after a sec. However, it never came back on so I went to "Network Connections" under Settings and the icon that usually has my wireless connection was gone. It still listed teh 1394 connection and the Local Area Connection, but the wireless wasn't listed. I made sure the little button on the front of my laptop that turns on and off the wireless was on. I've restarted it numerous times. I've tried connected at my house and various other buildings. It's just not seeing wireless anymore. Help??
