Well, I can see how you read it to mean something like how do I
configure the PC to always have the same IP address. However, in the
previous sentence, he also disclosed that he has:
I have a LinkSys Wireless G Broadband Router with SpeedBooster,
WRT54GS, FIrmware version 4.70.6.
which I read to mean that he wants to know how to configure the
wireless router, and not the PC, for a static lease. I'll stand on my
interpretation (and my answer).
