I went from an individual line to a 3 line family plan this past July.

My single line plan contract (450 min) expired in May and I was month
to month at that time.

I went to a 3 line with 1400 min 2 year contract, purchased three new
phones (my phone was eligible for New Every Two).

It was fairly painless. Very nice helpful person at the local
corporate owned store (NOT RESELLER!) Was in and out in about 30
minutes.

I've been a VZW customer since 2002. I intend on staying for a while.
I have yet to see another carrier come up to the quality of the
network as Verizon.

Much better than dealing with Stinkular. My wife couldn't stand them
anymore. She paid a $350 termination fee (two line family plan) to go
with Verizon (she and her daughter were on them before we got
married).

Oh, the porting of the numbers was fast, easy and painless. It worked
within 5 minutes of leaving the store. No horror story here (thank
God!). Now we're all on the same carrier and IN calling is great. Most
of my friends are on Verizon, same with the wife and step daughter
(who now lives in Ohio, but we're paying for the phone).

I'll give the VZW network a REAL test this coming week. Going from
Virginia to the Florida Keys! :-)
