Yes, I noticed that today. I keep on pressing the "connected" icon,
rather than the one on the left of it (the "G" or "U". It appears I am
not getting charged for non-activity when I'm connected. Everytime the
POP3 email appears, the phone remains on data. It is also surprising
that in different parts of NYC (Brooklyn), there are some areas that do
not have the high-speed. You would think that all cells in a major
city would be high speed, rather than just certain neighborhoods.
