I'm pretty sure our invoices say to phone and register the *handset*.
Not wanting to sound pendantic, it's just that we specifically don't
want to register the handset given it's going to be sold - presumably
registering the handset would also associate it with the account (with
all the consequences this may bring should it get lost/stolen as
mentioned).

I'll give them a call, but as I said I'm not confident I'll get told
the right thing so thought I'd post here for others' views.
