Hi i'm new here ! I've been looking and posting threads on other forums/message boards seeing if someone might be able to help me with the problem im having using wireless but its been no use. So i decided to register on this site to try my luck

Here's the issue:
There are two PC's in the house hold. Computer #1 (is a shared computer) and the internet runs on ADSL. The modem is connected to a
(NETGEAR) 108 Mbps Wireless router. Computer #2 has a wireless connection and has a
NETGEAR 108 Mbps Wireless PCI Adapter properly installed. Computer #1 has perfect connection, no problems at all. Whereas Computer #2 constantly displays the
"page cannot be displayed" error when IE is opened. Strangely enough, the error still comes up even when there is Very Good - Excellent Connectivity stength.
I am wondering is anyone else having that problem? Does anyone know the solution? Or what might really be causing it?
I should note that the ISP was called and the operator said to call the manufactuer (Netgear) as everything looks fine on their end. I called the manufactuer and voila! Google.com opened fine as well as other webpages. I got off the phone and it didnt work anymore - fancy that

. So i gave up for the day and i called again the next day. After doing the whole Ping (IP address and websites) through Command Prompt, I was told that everything came down to it being an issue with the IE Browser, and there was nothing they could do to help. Its really drilling my head in and it needs to be fixed before the school holidays finish. Are there any thoughts or suggestions on what to do about this?
Thanks so much in advance for any feedback.
