Default Netstumbler can find networks, but Windows cannot

Recently, my Windows Wireless Network Connection has failed to show any wireless networks when I know they are available. If I open Network Stumbler I can see my own wireless router as well as about 20 others. Once I close NS and open the Windows Wireless Network Connection I am told that no wireless networks are in range.

On a side note, my Wireless Zero Configuration is set to automatic and is started. Further, my laptop did not come with any 2nd party wireless software/manager that I am aware of. I have always used Windows Wireless Network Connection to view and connect to my router. I can connect with other computers, so the router is ok. I would appreciate if anyone has suggestions on any processes I could turn on/off or any thoughts that would get this up and running again.

Thanks!
