You don't necessarily have to go to the phone settings, but the dial
strings are hard to remember. Try
**21*<tel. no.>#
to forward the phone, and
##21#
to cancel.
I think these might be fairly standard GSM codes, since they seem to
work for me many places on most phones. I'm not at all positive they
are universal, however, so your mileage may vary.
