Hey All

I am wanting to get a group together to start putting a structured approach to a wireless (11b/g) backbone for Wellington/Hutt/Porirua Area

I'm kinda new to wireless etc and know the basic's but i was after

a) Some people willing to help plan and rollout the network
Some people willing to donate roof space/money/parts

Does anyon have any real-world based trails of how far with a directional ant at 2.4ghz on the 11g freq you can travel before you have to fall back to 27mb?
