iPhone 1.1.3 update "unbricks" your bricked phone

For anyone who bricked their iPhone and put it off to the side someplace
to get out of mind and dissipate your frustration and silliness
apparently Apple's new 1.1.3 iPhone firmware update allows bricked
iPhones to come back from the dead.

To upgrade:
1. Put the phone in recovery mode
2. Connect to iTunes and restore/upgrade

If you have problems with your SIM:
1. Activate using iTunes
2. Restart the Phone
3. By now it should be working correctly
