The Zune does have better sound quality than some iPods. Amusingly, the
iPod that had the best sound quality was the original iPod shuffle.
Has there been an evaluation of the iPhone sound quality versus other
music players such aas the Zune? I've seen meaningless statements such
as "The iPhone sounds as good as any iPod you’ve ever owned," which
doesn't tell you much since different iPod models have different sound
quality.
Still, at $300, which is what the 8GB iPhone costs after the $50 AT&T
discount, and the other $50 credit, it's pretty easy to see why it's
become the best selling phone. At $600 it would still be struggling.
