Who gives a ****? There will be a couple of main providers, ATnT,
Verizon will merge with somebody, Google's in the game, piss on Virgin
and the other low level players. Same as Internet, how many broadband
choices do you have? One, two maybe in metros. We're ****ed, the
***-bleeding has just begun.

Google-Sprint may not become Google alone but they might as well be.
Google Voice will insure their domination of Sprint; Google Voice
replaces Sprint voicemail. Google is in the ISP biz @ 1gig.

Google, AT&T, maybe no one else?

Hell, I don't care nor do I give a flying ****. the names won't
matter, the end game is the same. Telecom domination, privacy
eradication, government intervention and economic deprivation. More
for few, less for more.

It's not like we, Americans, don't deserve it, the EU's too, they are
just as butt lazy, ***-kissing ********ing pricks as we are. We sat
back, elected Bush, Tony whatsthe****ers name in Britland and others
like those neocon pussy slurpers and this is what we get.

Yeah I'll do that. Right after someone gives me a check for the three
hundred grand I lost in my goddamned house valuation. Which I still
pay taxes on at a rate made up by some shitclown who thinks that the
ten foreclosures on my street upvalue my home.

Things are truly slipping away, the middle class is awash and down the
drain is going any semblance of privacy. Anonymity may well be drowned
when/if legislation requires is abolition.

Right on that. these anonymity assclowns think they can run their
remailers forever, that Tor is going to be the King's fart evermore
and independent VPNs won't be undone by the ISPs who will give the
service away for ****ing free.

Sounds like a great government black op, they have been wanting to
control the net for years (NET 2.0) and Im sure the lobbyist would
love it. They want us all to pay for the privilege of even loggin on,
let alone downloading/sharing stuff for free! With the death of the
net as it is, a perfect excuse to launch into the new system to keep
out the 'terrorist' hackers and maintain security..at a price. Oh and
yea no more anonymity either, you wont be getting anything for free
any more.

Back on topic, the AT-TM merger has nothing positive about it if you
look down the road of the future. The players are consolidating and
the USGOV-TLAs and LEOs will be benefiting bigtime.

You, me, the guy next door, The Black In the White House, none of us
have a gauge as to what the TLAs can and cannot *already* do. Will
this help the NSA/CIA/DIA types? Probably. Keep in mind, they tap the
"trunks" for Internet and phone data already. So ATnT gobbls T-Mobile,
more data, same data, *** knows?

More data control? Oh hell yes baby, hell yes.

Well look at it from the bright side. There is no Siberia in America.

I'm not sure how you equate Sprint hiring Google to handle Sprint's
voicemail backend as a merger or domination of Sprint any more than Pepsi
would "dominate" Sprint if Sprint served it in the employee cafeteria.
Google is simply another vendor.

Well, given that succinct yet thorough argument, I may have to reconsider
my position...

Coming from the position that "Google is simply another vendor" to the
stark, cruel, cold world of reality is a long haul. Get back to me
late 2012.
