Default Why the sudden flood of posts here?

Hey all...

Until a couple of days ago, I was seeing maybe 10 posts here a day.

Now it's like 30 or 40.

Has our feed gone wild, or has there really been a sudden flood in posting
the last few days, does anyone know?

- Tim

Look back through the posts and notice how much more intense the posting
is during weekday business hours, giving us a hint they're posting from
WORK, when they're supposed to be working, not from home where it eats
into the party time.

Sudden flood. It will pass in time.

Yes.

The main poster of misinformation in the group returned after a
prolonged absence. After he loses every debate, he leaves for a few
weeks or a couple of months to lick his wounds, and then he returns in
the hope that people won't remember his antics (no references,
everything fabricated, or based solely on "people he knows").

Every time this happens, those that do not have him filtered out forget
that it's best not to feed the trolls, and you get a flood of posts
arguing with him and correcting him. They forget the idiom "Never argue
with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with
experience."

Hmm - I almost never use Usenet filters, but maybe I shall start soon. :-)

Thanks for the info!

Your insults only serve to prove how unpersuasive your claims are.
