Alberta Coverage on GSM and/or CDMA and/or AMPS

Anyone have experience with roaming onto Canadian wireless networks in
Alberta, specifically from Calgary up to Banff and Lake Louise?

I checked the Alberta GSM and CDMA coverage maps, and they look pretty
similar until you get past Jasper, where the CDMA network has more coverage.

I may go into Saskatchewan as well. After checking the coverage maps,
I'm guessing that not many Saskatchewanians are giving up AMPS any time
soon!
