Default ATT Wireless discount for AARP members?

I'm trying to confirm that ATT Wireless offers a discount to AARP members.
I cannot find anything on AARP's or ATT web sites.

Thanks

Suggest you contact AARP. What you hear here may or may not be valid.

I confirmed that the discount was discontinued in June, 2006. Those that
had before the cancellation apparently were able to keep it.

And many of those users have since died from old age.

AARP membership begins at only 50, so maybe not.

AARP has changed from a lobbying organization for seniors to an
organization that co-brands products and services of often poor quality,
with discounts that are usually easily obtainable without any membership
at all.

Their agenda now is to push legislation that benefits themselves as a
company.

AARP is a for-profit insurance company, plain and simple. They use the
guise of being a senior advocate purely to build the company.
