Heh. About 3 years ago I went to Bahamas with my Cingular phone. Before
leaving I double checked with CS that international roaming and
international dialing were enabled. I also verified that Batelco was a
roaming partner of Cingular.
When I arrived, my phone registered with a Batelco tower but I was unable
to make or receive calls. All the folks with T-Mobile US accounts were
able to roam successfully.
Looks like nothing has changed.
