Default Best BASIC phone

I know this thread has probably been beat to death before, but with the ever
changing selection of phones available from Cingular, what is the best basic
phone available?

I need to replace both of my parent's Nokia 3595's. My mother has a mild
degree of hearing loss and my dad has large, slightly arthritic hands. With
these things in mind, my main considerations are a clear, loud earpiece and
large keypad (or at least one that is easy to dial).

Camera, MP3 player, Internet browsing ability, etc. are all
unimportant....Bluetooth might be useful, especially for my mother to enable
her to use an earpiece.

Thanks,
Rodney

The phone closest in position to the Nokia 3595 is the 6030. It is smaller
and uses the newer Nokia menu system, but performs very well. However, the
keypad and 4-way navigation buttons might be hard on arthritic hands, so
perhaps your parents could try one out in a Cingular store. It does not
have Bluetooth.
