On 1 Oct 2007 a user claimed in this newsgroup that entering the code
#7465625*638*12415647# unlocked two Samsung A707s. I played with the
codes and found that if you enter just the *#7465625# part, the phone
displays the status of several locks, the network lock, the subset lock,
the SP lock, the CP lock and the SIM lock. In searching the internet I
found the following codes:
*7465625*638*Code# = Enables Network lock
#7465625*638*Code# = Disables Network lock
*7465625*782*Code# = Enables Subset lock
#7465625*782*Code# = Disables Subset lock
*7465625*77*Code# = Enables SP lock
#7465625*77*Code# = Disables SP lock
*7465625*27*Code# = Enables CP lock
#7465625*27*Code# = Disables CP lock
*7465625*746*Code# = Enables SIM lock
#7465625*746*Code# = Disables SIM lock
In all of these, "Code" is a code which may be specific for your phone.
Or maybe "Code" is just 12415647 for any A707 phone. If you want to
try it, let us know whether #7465625*638*12415647# unlocked your phone.
