How to change tracfone number?

Joshiii responds:

You just want to change your area code? If so you can do that
from the website automatically, under the "Services" tab.

If you just want a new number and/or area code:
1. Call Customer Service.
2. Deactivate the phone, saving any minutes from it
to a queue that TracFone will create for you (get
the Queue No. for reference).
3. Then in the same call, or a different call to
customer service, the same or the next day,
reactivate the phone.
4. Note: To reactivate you will need an
airtime card.

Actually, what i want to do, is just to change the number within the
same area code. I am not sure if they can do it for me. And also, you
said I have to have an aircard in order to re-active it?
