Default How do I prep a phone for resale?

I have a couple Nokia 6800 phones that I need to get rid of now that I
moved to verizon. My office is moving us to verizon, so I have a new
phone and service now, although I was really happy with my old phone

Besides deleting all the entries in the phone book, call histories,
and saved messages, what else should I do to these phones before
selling them to a stranger on an auction site? Should I throw away
the sim cards behind the battery?

Thanks.
