I have narrowed it down to these two phones. I need an unlocked GSM, 3G
not important, WiFI very important, camera? I got a dozen of 'em. So,
these are the choices.
I need:
Good Reception for fringe areas.
Good sound.
SMS
Good Web Browsing over WiFi
E-mail
A nice MP3 player.
I have a Verizon Palm 755p that I really like when it doesn't freeze
(usually when I REALLY need to do something quickly...), I don't want to
run Windows (can you run Linux on a Nokia?)
The only other contender is a Samsung Epix, some say they're great, some
say they're UGH, but they have a touch screen. Or perhaps a Palm Pro?
I got a headache! So, if you had to choose between one of the 4, which
would you get, and in what order? The Blackberry and the Nokia are running
neck and neck. Other Nokias I have had have been OK, never had a BB...

Hi,
I'm thinking about purchasing the Nokia e63. I'm using my current
cellphone as a modem and it really sucks.Any idea on how fast the
internet connection will be?Thanks.

Any idea whether the data service you're eligible for is basic GPRS?
or EDGE? or one of the services up through 7.2 Mb/sec HSDPA?
Or some faster service yet?
*Then* determine from a Nokia store whether the e63 does that data protocol,
and what data-transfer speeds you might *realistically* expect from it.

I wound up getting an E61 on eBay...the E63 would have been the next
choice.
From what I have seen, depending on the carrier, the speeds are better
depending on the protocol. Verizon's EVDO is pretty quick.

We always get some news that Nokia has a good quality, but never used it.
