Default Phone recommendation

Switching from Verizon to Cingular this weekend hopefully. I live in
Atlanta.

I am looking for a flip phone that has very long battery life and very
good RF. Camera, mp3 player or any other junk like that is meaningless
to me. I just want a phone. Thanks for any advice.

I am quite happy with the Nokia 6126 from Cingular. They are free for a
new contract. The Nokia PCSuite program is also free. The charger and
data cable are specific to this unit. The charger is not the same as other
Nokias. The data cable is not a standard mini-USB, either, but it has
bluetooth, so that doesn't matterso much to me. I would like a phone with
a USB data/charger port, because that is so handy.

The 6126 has a good camera and plays audio if you add micros-SD memory, but
the RF was the most important aspect for me, as I am in a fringe area.

I thought the Atlanta area was a pretty strong signal area. At least it
looks that way on the coverage maps.
