And they can "PUSH" an "Upgrade" that would change it.
Must cost them millions for all the programming effort, be nice if
some of that was used on their buggy web pages.

Yes, always amazes me how some of the biggest "tech" companies have the
worst functioning websites.

Now a trendy version of the Death Star.

Usually not if it's in "ROM" (actually Flash in most cases) -- only if
it's in the SIM. Most handsets sold by Cingular can't do firmware
updates OTA (over the air).

Best regards, FAQ FOR CINGULAR WIRELESS:
John Navas <http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Cingular_Wireless_FAQ>
OK, I'm confused with all this "New Logo" "Display" stuff. On my phone, an
old V557, is it going to stay with "Cingular" on the screen? I would
actually prefer it did. While I'm not an English professor, I think it's a
bunch of crap for a company to have its logo spelled as "at&t" as opposed to
the correct "AT&T"

Do proper spelling concerns prevent you from enjoying the occasional
"Krispy Kreme" doughnut as well? ;-)

The flour flavored sugar product. Theyclosed down in Houston lasy
year, closing up all shops.
I don't care how at&t spells their name (at&t or AT&T) as long as they
sign my paycheck!
