If you are UPgrading your contract(s) (not the phone, the contract),
you should be able to keep your existing rollover minutes.

How do you sync or back up your contacts now?

Of course it has one. The SIM card is integral to how GSM phones work.
They are designed to be interchangeable with other GSM phones.

There is no such thing. The iPhone has the storage it has.

AT&T sells the 3GS new, and +may+ have the previous version, the 3G as
a refurb if they have any available.

Is there a question in there?

Email is data and is unlimited. MMS is "messaging" and is either a la
carte or included in an add-on messaging plan.

Unlimited data is included in the iPhone plans. You have no choice in
the matter.
