This part I still don't get. Since you said you don't need more
voice minutes then you won't be changing your voice plan, just
buying new phones and adding data plans. Doing this in the
past didn't effect your rollover minute balance at all (the
only way you lost rollover minutes is if you downgraded to
a voice plan with a smaller number of minutes). I've not
bought a new phone from AT&T recently, but I've added and
deleted data plans from both lines quite often and this
has no effect on the rollover minute balance.
If AT&T is telling you you'll lose the rollover minutes, are
they also telling you why? It didn't use to work that way.
