Default Samsung A637 drivers

Does anyone know how to get the photos off the Samsung A637 camera
phone? I hooked it up to my PC with USB but the computer doesn't
recognize it. ATT support said they don't have drivers and Samsung's
website is useless for finding that stuff. I found this program called
PC Studio but it won't connect to my phone. I think I need drivers but
where to find them?

Any help with this would be awesome!!

If the iPhone is really so impressive,

Hi John - thanks for your suggestion. I downloaded the software and
installed it, rebooted then ran update to get all the latest files. It
still does not recognize the phone as being connected. The "View
Phone" button in MultiMedia Manager is grayed out. In Windows Control
Panel->Device Manager the Other Devices tab has a little yellow
exclamation mark (!) and its status says Drivers not installed code
28.

So it looks like the Samsung drivers are still not installed.

I'm guessing you hooked the phone up *before* you installed the drivers?
If so, that's a Very Bad Thing, because then the drivers can't install.
You need to completely uninstall all traces of the phone, and start
over.

OK well I got some feedback from Samsung help. The problem was the USB
mode on the phone. Here is what they sent me (http://ars.samsung.com/

What Are USB Settings And How Do I Use Them On My SGH-A637 Phone?

USB (Universal Serial Bus) is a type of plug-in connection that is
used to connect devices, including some handsets, to desktop or laptop
PC's. In a handset, USB is useful for quickly transferring files to
and from phones, or for synchronizing information with a PC
application.

The SGH-A637 handset has the capability to transfer files directly
from a PC to the handset or a memory card (residing within the
handset) with a compatible USB cable, using one of the following USB
Settings:

o PC Studio, for Samsung PC Studio 3 software
o Media Player, for Windows Media™ Player
o Mass Storage, for Windows Explorer

To configure the handset's USB setting follow the steps below:

1. From the standby screen, press the left right key for Menu
2. Select Settings (9)
3. Select Set Connectivity (7)
4. Choose Select USB Mode (2)
5. Highlight the desired USB Setting from the following:
* Ask on Connection
* Media Player
* PC Studio
* Mass Storage
6. Press the left soft key for Select to save the USB Setting
