Samsung Sync Unlocked

I hope there are good deals on the Samsung Sync (A707), since the newer
A717/A727 releases. And I have even seen the newest versions of those thin
phones in the Ultra Slim line. The D830 is slimmer than the A717, and the
X820 is slimmer than the A727.

So I was wondering if the cost of an unlocked Sync would be at a really
cheap price, since there are many rebates and free (with plan) deals out
there. However, I do not want to sign up for 2 years so owning a phone is
worth it to me. However, if the Sync is pricey, I may just go with one of
the newest Ultra thin models.

Equipment discounts are largest when you sign a new contract, on any phone
model. Sync is a HOT phone right now, I do not expect it to drop price
soon. Try places like www.wirefly.com or ebay for the best prices. New
phones need to be out about 6 months before prices start dropping on the
older models.
