AT&T Wireless data routing issue in San Francisco?
For the past few hours my Motorola V3xx has been able to access WAP on
the built-in browser, but not the rest of the Internet on Google Maps
for Mobile, Opera Mini, Google Mail for Mobile, etc.
traceroute suggests it's some sort of routing problem -- the first two
addresses I'm seeing are the same:
172.26.248.2
172.26.248.2
...
Is anyone else seeing this issue, or not seeing this issue? Thanks.

From reports posted to an AT&T Wireless Forum, the problem was
widespread, at least up and down the state of California.

You might also try to find newsgroup "ibm.ibmpc.thinkpad"; I think it
used to be an internal IBM newsgroup but it leaked into general USENET
distribution and now has a life of its own.

It was never an internal IBM newsgroup.
It was and is a rogue newsgroup.

Created by people without permission from IBM, which has specifically
discouraged such newsgroups.
>You'll never tell us, of course, because that's simply your OPINION.
Wrong again.

You're not looking for anything. You'd have to take the childish
blinders off first.
