This says "unlimited megabytes" for WEB BROWSING and the monthly rental
products VZW sells over their SELLphones.....It does NOT say UNLIMITED DATA
to your FTP client, your Usenet Client, your streaming client you don't pay
them, specifically, to use.
By the way, unlimited DATA to a smartphone on Alltel is $10/mo, with no
funny business. EVDO to a computer over BT from a smartphone is $25/mo,
not $60/mo. It doesn't include unlimited voice during the weekdays, but
the phone plans all included unlimited N/W, unlimited M2M on Alltel. The
plans at HALF the $99/mo Verizon wants, include 5, 10 or 20 number MY
CIRCLE unlimited phone calls 24/7/365, effectively giving you the same
voice coverage to up to 20 numbers YOU can change any time on the
webpage....for about HALF the price Verizon wants. I don't have My Circle
on my cheap $39 regional plan, I have Skype Pro on EVDO. If I can't make
Alltel bitch at me with my Linux tablet streaming XRM TV:
http://75.126.100.178:8000/wrm-tv.nsv?refid=1
and getting my ass whipped, regularly, by the kids in online gaming the
tablet supports, none of you will either. Video and games pretty much max
out EVDO and eat the phone's battery pack pretty fast! I got 5 packs...(c;
Same ol' Verizon.....web browsing and email ONLY, everything else
forbidden.
And, of course:

They are watching anyone using too many mega (not giga) bytes.....and
distributing it to anyone they choose...and you agree that's ok.
This new program is for the useless "internet" on the toyphones and NOT the
pseudo-broadband internet service offered for aircards and computer
connections, which goes unchanged. You're STILL not allowed to do anything
but EMAIL and WEB BROWSING on your COMPUTER connections to Verizon as
outlined in:
http://support.vzw.com/terms/product...nalaccess.html
Click on TERMS AND CONDITIONS and pick BROADBAND, which is totally
different legalese:
"DATA PLANS AND FEATURES
Prohibited Uses. While most common uses for Internet are permitted by your
Data Plan, there are certain uses that cause extreme network capacity
issues and interference with the network. These are not uses intended by
our Data Access plans and are therefore prohibited. Examples of prohibited
uses include the following: (i) server devices or host computer
applications, including, but not limited to, continuous Web camera posts or
broadcasts, automatic data feeds, automated machine-to-machine connections
or peer-to-peer (P2P) file-sharing; (ii) as a substitute or backup for
private lines or dedicated data connections; (iii) "auto-responders,"
"cancel-bots," or similar automated or manual routines which generate
excessive amounts of net traffic, or which disrupt net user groups or email
use by others; (iv) "spam" or unsolicited commercial or bulk email (or
activities that have the effect of facilitating unsolicited commercial
email or unsolicited bulk email); (v) any activity that adversely affects
the ability of other people or systems to use either Verizon Wireless
Services or other parties’ Internet-based resources, including "denial of
service" (DoS) attacks against another network host or individual user;
(vi) accessing, or attempting to access without authority, the accounts of
others, or to penetrate, or attempt to penetrate, security measures of
Verizon Wireless’ or another entity’s network or systems; or (vii) software
or other devices that maintain continuous active Internet connections when
a computer’s connection would otherwise be idle or any "keep alive"
functions, unless they adhere to Verizon Wireless’ data retry requirements,
which may be changed from time to time. This means, by way of example only,
that using these Data Plans or Features for P2P file-sharing services, web
broadcasting, or for the operation of servers, telemetry devices and/or
Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition devices is prohibited.
If usage exceeds 5 GB per line during any billing period, we reserve the
right to reduce throughput speeds of any application that would otherwise
exceed such speed to a maximum of approximately 200 Kbps. These speeds are
subject to change, in our reasonable discretion, in order to address
network issues. In order to assess your usage, you may obtain information
about your usage during a particular billing period, including during the
Return Period under your Worry Free Guarantee, through My Account or by
contacting Customer Service. These Data Plans or Features are for
individual use only and not for resale. We further reserve the right to
take measures to protect our network from harm, compromised capacity or
degradation in performance, any of which may impact permitted data flows.
Accordingly, we reserve the right to deny, modify or terminate service,
without notice, to anyone we believe is using Data Plans or Features in any
manner that adversely impacts our network or service levels, and we also
reserve the right to terminate service upon expiration of the Customer
Agreement term. We may, but are not required to, monitor your compliance,
or the compliance of other subscribers, with the terms, conditions, or
policies of the Customer Agreement.
Verizon Wireless Plans, Rate and Coverage Areas, rates, agreement
provisions, business practices, procedures and policies are subject to
change as specified in the Customer Agreement."

BROADBAND INTERNET ON VERIZON IS LIMITED TO 5GB/MONTH AND RESTRICTED TO
EMAIL AND WEB BROWSING ONLY!
"Unlimited" continues to be non-existant to Verizon's computer customers.
Toyphone browsers that don't do anything and are not really software
installable have "unlimited" service because Verizon knows damned well you
couldn't get a phone browser to use 5GB if you played with it 24/7/31 days
a month! Nothing has really changed except you can talk to your girlfriend
during weekdays without using airtime for OVER DOUBLE THE PRICE...$99/mo.
Ok....now we'll hear the Navas Rebuttle, Your Honor....
