Default Update a new phone with call list

AT&T said they would send me a new phone (Possibility a Nokia 6085) to try
in my area after having a 6126 from a local store failing to work correctly.
They said they would send me a new phone and let me test it without actually
canceling my present contract this time. Canceling my present contract is
normally not a problem, but getting back to it is a real problem if the new
phone does not work. If it works, I will keep it and change my contract.
This is my question: What steps do I have to go through in order to transfer
my personal information from my present Nokia 6340i to this new Nokia 6085.
I would expect it probably involves the sim cards in both phones. If I
picked up this phone in the store, they would do it for me. This time, I
will have to do its myself because the new phone is coming in the mail. I do
not have any experiences in doing this, and need detailed help if possible.
Thanks a million, Charles Ranheim.

On your old phone go to Contacts, then Options, then Copy all to Sim,
then put Sim in new phone and it may ask if you want to copy contacts to
phone, if not, go to contacts, copy all from Sim to phone...

Mike,
Just to clarify for me, after copying the contacts to the sim card in my
old phone, I remove it. I then remove the sim in the new phone and replace
it with sim from the old phone, and copy the contacts. When this completes,
I remove the old sim from the new phone and replace it with the new sim that
came with the new phone. After putting back the original sim in the old
phone, I should be good to go. Am I correct? This is all new to me. If you
can think of any problems I might run into, let me know. Thanks again,
Charles Ranheim
