Hrmm.
I'm wondering maybe if not having the motorola cd and drivers perhaps
prevent the computer from sending voltage to the USB cable? I haven't
installed those, and cancel out of windows new hardware wizard....
This line of thinking got me searching....
Dennis, do you have PhoneTools installed? If so and my lack of that
might explain why I'm not seeing it charging on my end. I have seen
at least one mention that said phonetools might be necessary to enable
the charging by usb?
Can anyone confirm or deny? Did phonetools come with the phone or is
that something moto/cingular forced you to get on your own? (i.e. is
my technically impaired and very bad about keeping original software
buddy likely to even have this software?)
Best Regards,
