wap server slow recently?

I'm in central florida. For the past few weeks wap.cingular.com has
seemed very slow.

It may be particularly slow during daytime hours. By "slow" I mean
REALLY slow, such that many sites are unreachable in a practical sense.
Packet delay times are in the one minute range.

It seems to be site dependent. Like it is hard to make contact with
Microsoft.

It seems to help for a few minutes if I disconnect my V551 then
reconnect..

Might I expect isp.cingular.com to be faster?

I doubt it -- probably a general infrastructure or backhaul issue.
