How to keep keyboard active during presentations?

I want to use my K800 as a remote control when doing presentations. It
all works well, except for one thing. After a few seconds of
inactivity, the screen will auto-fade and at the same time the
keyboard will go into a mode where the next keypress only will light
up the display and it will take one more keypress to send it as a
remote command.

This behavior is VERY irritating when doing presentations. I want the
keyboard to stay active during the whole presentation. Is there way to
accomplish this?
