Default K800i - "Operation Failed"

Folks,

Overall my K800i has been a real workhorse of a phone.... But in the
last couple of days, whenver I try to open "Games" or "My
Applications" under "Media Album", I get "Operation Failed" - and cant
get any further.

Any clues?

Thanks

I recently had the same problem and found a lot of references to this in
various forums. The phone's file system has been corrupted and it will need
to be reflashed. I had my sent away to Vodafone as it was just still in
warranty and it came back ok. There is some suggestion the corruption
happens when you link to a PC using USB.

Hiya,

I got my K800 back by using wotanserver - well worth the few euro's it
cost.

Handy hint though - make sure you back EVERYTHING up first! I thought
I had, but seems I'd only done contacts! So all my music, photos etc
lost!

Ho hum, at least I have a functional phone again
