Nokia 6790 Surge packs a 2.4" 16M-color display of QVGA resolution.
Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and dual-band UMTS with HSDPA 3.6Mbps support
provide the network data transfers, while Bluetooth, USB and a 2.5 mm
audio jack cover the local connectivity. The Nokia surge is thin and
at only 0.6 inches and the face measures 3.8 by 2.3 inches. It is made
of entirely glossy black plastic which is prone to catch fingerprints.
There is a slide out horizontal QWERTY keyboard that spans the whole
width of the unit. The slide out mechanism is smooth but sometimes it
felt a little sleazy. The keys look flat and cheap but they have good
response. The end key also acts as a power button. The weight of 4.4
ounces feels light in hand. The system runs on Symbian Series 60 Third
Edition software. Nokia Surge can multitask, it includes Quickoffice
for editing Word and Excel documents, it works with Mail for Exchange
2.9, and it can be used as a 3G modem for a laptop. Nokia Surge
features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 2MP camera, AT&T Navigator and
Video Share and a browser that allows for Flash support. Additionally,
the Surge will ship with the JuiceCaster app that allows users to
update their twitter or Facebook statuses even more pain-free. To know
