p990i SE with MMR60 FM transmitter. Do they work together?

I have an p990i SE with MMR60 FM transmitter is it possible to get them
to work together or the transmitter only work with Walkman W branded
phones. Thanks.

Usually there is a problem because of incompatible plugs eg between 990 and
910. However the MMR60 has got the right plug, so it should work. be sure
that the integral FM in the phone is out of the loop for the transmit
frequency; as in dont scan with the phone on radio - you are likely to get a
bad feedback problem.
