Default Viewing text files on W580i

The only way I've found to transfer a small text file from my Mac to my
W580i and be able to read it, is to save an image of the text as a .png
and put that in the phone's "Pictures" folder.

Surely there's a better way?

If I put a plain text file in the phone's "Other" folder, I can see it,
but I don't know how to open it and read it.

You need to install a J2ME text viewer.
You can probably find one at getjar.com

If the iPhone is really so impressive,
why do iFans keep making excuses for it?

Thanks for the info. Although it does seem strange to have to add an app
to do that, because the phone must have the ability to handle text files
already. I was thinking I just didn't know the proper directory to put
it in, or the proper extension to add to the filename.
