I upgraded to an Atrix on the first day they became available. I have
used an iPhone for two years, and had never owned an Android, so there
was a learning curve for me.
I like the Atrix. I thought it was an incredible battery hog at first,
but now that I have settled down and learned the phone, I do not seem
to have a problem lasting a whole day on a charge. The battery is a
big one: 1930mah. I push several email accounts to the phone, so if
you are only pushing one, you will have less of a battery drain.
Some users complain about AT&T's poor upload speeds on this phone, an
issue which AT&T is supposedly addressing. The download speeds on mine
measure as comperable to the iPhone, and seem to be just a speedy.
I would put call quality a notch above the iPhone, based on my
experience with both.
The phone is light and thin. Cases for it seem to be few and far
between becuase it is so new. The phone does seem to get a little warm
under certain conditions. As I have broken it in, this seems to happen
less often.
I did not get the "laptop" assessory, so I cannot comment on that
aspect of the phone.
Hope my comments are useful to you. |
