Default Atrix

Any experiences with Motorola Atrix? Is it compatible with the old
Palm system so as to allow transfer of data from Palm software to
Atrix?

Many thanks,

Bob

I don't know for certain but I think it's unlikely that you can simply
copy from one to the other.

I would expect that the Atrix can copy to and from your computer.

If Motorola Phone Tools supports the Atrix it may be possible to use
the software on your computer to Enter your contacts, appointments,
memos, etc.

If you have the Palm software for your computer, it's possible that you
could "cut and paste" from the Palm display to the Atrix.

I was thinking of an Atrix, as I'd like to leave my Blackberry, and used to
be happiest with Motorola Products over the long term.

Motorola Phone tools was an expensive add-on from a company that declares
themselves to be innocent of what Motorola forces them to do at every turn.

I needed different versions to sync two different Motorola phones because
one of them was removed from the supported list, supposedly on demand of
Motorola, which I find very difficult to believe.

The support was abysmal.

Nice feature set, though. It was easy to use in ways that other sync tools
don't offer, and the interchangeable data sets were many, with easy
control.

Currently, I would suggest Google Sync.
That might be the common denominator that would accept the Palm uploads and
download to the Atrix.
