reception any better on different models?

This may be a odd or impossible question. I use Sprint. I have a
Motorola RAZR V3M. My commitment time is up with Sprint, so I could get
a new phone. My reception is not that good. I know this might depend on
many factors - but has anyone experienced better reception with a newer
model of Motorola? Or any pointers to any reviews? I can't seem to
Google the right words. smile.
