Blackberry Date Cable

Is there a cable that can be connected between my Blackberry and laptop that
would allow me to use the Internet on my laptop through my Blackberry? A
friend of mine used his Cingular phone while we were driving and had
impressive speed while using the Internet. He bought the cable online, but
I have yet to find one for the Blackberry.

what model blackberry and what service provider?

the usb cable that came with the phone will work and your best bet for
connecting you laptop is to use 'MobiShark Online Blackberry Store:
Blackberry as a modem' (http://www.mobishark.com/) software. you have
to purchase it but it is the only way to get it to work easily.
