2610 Backlight

Hi

I am in U.K. My wife currently uses 3510i with a plug in car kit and the
backlight displays constantly when plug in car kit is connected allowing
constant viewing of screen during night operation in car. I recently bought
Nokia 1600, that didn't have this function. My wife is on T-Mobile Pay&Go
who have recently added 2610 to their Nokia phone choice. This appears to
be the perfect upgrade, as it looks to fit the same plug in car kit, but
will the backlight stay illuminated? Does anybody know?

If it's a Symbian phone, run Smart Profile.

I have searched for Smart Profile, but can't find it!

Will not work with 2610, but will with N70, so I would like to use it.
