Default Avoiding "my active standby"

Hi

My mother in law has a newer Nokia phone w/2mpic camera and "push"
keyboard.

When pressing up, she activates "my active standby", which she does
not like.
Is there a way to disable the "up" key for that? It seems to be
default.

Or disable "my active standby" forever?

You didn't mention what model phone she has.
On my N82, I go to Settings-Display-Personalization-Standby Mode to turn
it on/off.

It is a Model 6288, RM78

There is no personalisation under Display, only:

Standby mode settings
Screen saver
Power saver
Sleep mode
Font size

Under "Standby mode settings", I can turn the Active Standby on and
off, but not permanently off.

Under Sertings - My Shortcuts - Navigation key is the Active standby,
but it cannot be turned off there.

Any other ideas?

That's an S40 phone, not a Symbian (S60) one. I've found the menus
pretty confusing on them. Perhaps it's not under Display then.
