Car Kit for 5300 or 5500?

Two questions for someone well up on the latest Nokia kits:

1. The CK-20W car kit fits the 5300 - but does the phone remain open
for access to the keys while driving? Seems pretty obvious that it
would but I don't know much about these sliding phones....

2. Because of my uncertainty with sliding phones, I thought the 5500
might make a better gift for my wife. But there doesn't appear to be a
car kit for it!!! Will there be one?

Why do you need access to the keys? There are navi buttons on the front,
and your not supposed to "use" the phone during driving anyway.

If you have a BT kit then you simply need somewhere to hold the phone to
allow you to see the caller.

You're right, the navi buttons should do most what we need.

BUT charging the phone is the main objective of the wired kit (we don't
use the phone in the house due to lack of signal) - does anyone know if
there will be a cradle for the 5300 or 5500 that will fit the CK-20W?

There is a generic Nokia cradle that will fit the phone.
