Default Charge Nokia 6131

Hi all.
My Nokia phone charger for my 6131 has died.
It's rated 5V.
I have another older Nokia charger but it's rated
5.7V, is this difference within tolerances for the
phone or will I cook the phone if I use it with an
adapter cable?
The battery is 3.7V.
Thanks

It will work. May charge the battery a little faster if the output
current is also higher.

Thanks for the reply.
Yeah, the current rating in the old charger is higher,
800 mAh against 500.
Is this still OK?

With any charger - battery relationship the thing that MAY cause
problems is how fast the battery can charge - given a higher voltage and
high current capacity, then the battery will try to charge quicker and
thus heat up and burn out. If in doubt give it a short time and unplug
and let it cool then repeat. Do this till charged. Only when happy
battery isn't frying leave unattended.
