How to save messages from 6680?

Hi -

Apologies if this has been answered elsewhere - if someone could refer
me to the right thread that would be great.

I have recently upgraded from a 6680 and want to save the SMS and MMS
messages on the phone. How do I do this (ideally without texting them
to my new phone!)

I didn't see any obvious way to accomplish this by saving to a SIM, or
using the PC software to download the messages.

Top left on pc sute, make a back up.
Then restore them onto new phone.
Don't think you can access them whilst they are in a backup on computer

You can either backup and restore or just export SMS to readable file
formats on PC in Oxygen Phone Manager II for Symbian OS phones. You can
download the trial version from our official site: www.oxygensoftware.com.
