Default N 75 - Two puzzles so far

I got my N 75 yesterday and I have been exploring the device. I have
two puzzles.

Why does the phone allow me to set a wallpaper, but when I go back to
the home tab, I don't see the change.

Can I go on the internet with this phone? How do I configure it to
work with the wi-fi points?

Allow in to seek wifi points. If it is open point, connect and start
browsing. If it is locked, enter user and password.

Which menu option lets you do that?

Should be on front page 'WLAN scanning on/off'

Tools Settings General Personalisation Standby mode
Turn on active standby

this should put wifi on opening page (if not might be an operator thing
- mines on t mobile).

Altern in tools there should be wlan wizard#
(again might depend on provider what options you get)

Thanks, I believe its an operator thing. My phone is from AT & T. So
it might have switched off that function.
They want me to access the internet using MediaNet which is an AT & T
service.

No. The N75 does not have wi-fi (802.11) functionality. You have to
use the AT&T media net functions. You can still install other
browsers (Opera mobile, etc) if you don't like the built-in one, but
your only access to the internet is through your provider's (AT&T)
network.

hope that helps,
Kevin

The N75 doesn't support wifi.
